To be sent there was like being sent to hell as this usually meant a parent was going to be called, detention for a month was going to be handed out or a very stern lecture and possibly suspension would be in a normal persons future. But for Kirin O'Dell, the teenage Irishmen had a different idea of what might happen to him once he reached the main office. He wasn't at all afraid of the Head Master and he didn't believe he would be in too much trouble. If anything, he would get that look from the adult he was about to see. He might even get a small lecture before the other would sigh and shake his head. Kirin was a good kid. Gentle, kind, considerate of others and pretty much a joy to be around. However, he had one nasty problem that he merely couldn't get rid of no matter what he did. He lied and did it like he would win the Noble Peace Prize for his skills. Of course, his lying ability was golden but sometimes his mixed truths and lies would get tangled together. Someone might change a story, add too it or overall, not agree to lie with him. Which is sorta what happened today. He had been in his science class with the other students. Kirin had forgotten to do his assignment and also caused a small accident in the lab due to his lies. No one was hurt, but his sleeve did catch on fire a bit. No big deal but it also didn't help the fact that he had corrected the teacher on today's subject matter. The poor teacher had gotten his facts wrong and Kirin thought it was a good idea to correct him. Wrong, the teacher hated to be corrected and with the events that followed, he was went away for the Head Master to deal with rather then the teacher. A simple detention would of been fine but the science teacher didn't care too much for the O'Dell. Moving into the office, he smiled happily at the receptionist. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Kingley." He chimed happily as he moved made a beeline to her desk. Mrs.Kingley didn't look at him but only sighed. "Really, Kirin? Did you get kicked out of the science class again? It has only been two weeks. This isn't going to go well for you if you get sent here again." Kirin shrugged his shoulders innocently, "Yeah, I know. I tried to not say anything but when I did it was all very pleasant. It isn't my fault that he doesn't care for my opinion much." Chuckled the burnette as Mrs. Kingley took the slip of paper from Kirin and headed towards the Head Masters office. "One moments, geez." She disappeared into the office to inform the Head Master who was here and within a few moments, she returned. "He'll see you now." She looked a bit gloomy at him before returning to her desk. Kirin on the other hand told her thanks and entered the office, closing the thick door behind him. He smiled softly as he leaned his back against the door he just entered. "Hey, Masaru. How's your day, hmm?" With a tilt of his head, he held up a single finger in his defense. "To be honest, the Teach is over exaggerating there, it was a rather small lab fire..." |
