Q: What exactly are the Host and Hostess Clubs? A: The Host and Hostesses Clubs are established clubs in Ouran Academy that basically flaunt the members about for the opposite sex to enjoy, and their job is to make their clients feel special and beautiful. Each club holds different events. The original Host Club was known for dressing up in a variety of different costumes on occasion; moreover, this tradition continues with both of the clubs. Special events will be hosted by either club over the course of the year.
Q: How are students sorted into the respective classes? A: At Ouran Academy, lineage comes first with wealth as a close second. This means that the class “A” students generally have very prestigious backgrounds and a hefty amount of money; however, this also means that overall wealth pales in comparison to someone with a spectacular lineage. This means that a C rank wealth could end up in class “A” due to lineage. Intelligence plays a very minor role in class assignment. If you can’t figure out what class to put your character in, the staff will be glad to help walk you through the process of choosing one.
Q: Haruhi was poor and attended Ouran on a merit scholarship. Can we create such a student? A: Yes, we do allow the creation of scholarship students, but there can only be one per grade level. This scholarship has very strict guidelines; moreover, the most important one is that the student remain at the top of his or her class. Scholarship students will also always be in class “A.”
Q: Can members of the opposite sex join the Host/ess clubs? A: No, we’re not going to allow a female to join the Host Club or vice versa. We’d like to focus more on the rivalry between the genders, and I feel it might detract from the fighting if we did so.
Q: What are the rules regarding clubs or teams? A: Each student must be a member of at least one club or team, but they can only be in a maximum of two.
more questions will be added as necessary. please do not hesitate to pm the staff with any of your questions, for we’d love to be able to help and expand upon the faq.
